Anrijs Ivanovskis is Latvian bassoon and contrabassoon player, born in Riga. He graduated Malmö Academy of Music in 2009 and Royal Danish Academy of Music in 2012.
At the present time Anrijs is soloist class student at the Royal Danish Music Academy. From age of 19 Anrijs was working in Liepaja Symphony orchestra for 10 years. Since 2007 Anrijs moved to Scandinavia and worked as freelance and contract musician in almost all orchestras around Denmark and Sweden. In 2009 Anrijs took a part in first worlds interactive orchestra project “ You Tube Symphony orchestra” in Carnegie hall New York. Anrijs is active soloist and chamber musician. Has worked together with many famous chamber orchestras and ensembles like “Kremerata Baltica”, “3WINDS”, “Postmodern winds” and Duo Anime. Performed as soloist with different orchestras and chamber orchestras and groups. Since 2012 Anrijs has a big interest in contemporary music and had a very good cooperation with Icelandic composer G. Karel Masson and performed several of his pieces. |
